Digital Dentistry

Digital dentistry is a new generation of dentistry that combines the knowledge of professional dentists with modern computer technology, enabling patients who want to improve oral and dental health or have a smile design to pass their treatment processes more comfortably. Digital dentistry is a practice consisting of dental production phases by means of impression (impression) design with special intraoral cameras and 3-dimensional printers. Thanks to this application, the restoration can be completed in a very short time and the treatment can be completed in the same short time as the production is completed.

Digital Design: Our technicians make computer-aided designs on the 3D image that is sent to the laboratory as a computer file via e-mail. All details are obtained in a computer environment with special design programs.

Advantages of Digital Dentistry?

Advantages of Digital Dentistry?

  • Digital dentistry shortens both the patient's sitting time in the dental chair and the time required for diagnosis and treatment in all branches of dentistry, thanks to digital imaging methods.
  • In the measurement process, the gag reflex is eliminated since the impression material and the measuring spoon are not used.
  • More compatible teeth can be prepared thanks to the sensitive measurement system.
  • Filling and coating prostheses can be prepared much faster.
  • Three-dimensional imaging minimizes the margin of error. Since all the structures in the jaw can be examined in three dimensions, the operations become safer.
  • It saves time for patients who cannot find time for their treatment due to intense work tempo or who come from another city / country. It is possible to be treated in a day. The patient can complete the treatment plan made on the same day with the produced tooth.
  • More precise treatment planning can be made in all dental fields with digital 3D imaging systems (computed tomographs).
  • With the 3D implant surgical guides prepared with a digital 3D image, the placement of the implants is planned and even the angles are adjusted during surgery.
  • Apart from planning and production of transparent plates in orthodontics, it provides many advantages by being used in archiving and planning orthognathic surgeries.
  • With digital smile design, treatment planning is made on patient photos and videos and the result can be shown to the patient simultaneously.
